What a Day!

Today after church we went and had brunch with Jeremy, Erin & Nick at Copelands. Alex was a little tired so we kept his attention by giving him goldfish (which he loves) and a lemon (which he also loves). He's to the point now where he tries to find a way out of the high chairs in restaurants, so we always have to make sure that the seat belt works, he's a pretty good escape artist.

Ummmmm, this is so good.....

Man, that has a kick to it...

After Alex's nap, we took him and Dillon on a walk over to see Grandma and Grandaddy. Alex even gets to hold Dillon's leash while we're walking, he does so good.

Playing with Aunt Erin under the parachute.

Savannah Weekend

I'm a week late posting all of these but I have been very busy this past week. First of all, the guys went to New York City for Jeremy's bachelor party and unfortunately for them that Noreaster came through. They were suppose to come home Sunday night but their flight was cancelled so they didn't get home till Monday night. On the other hand, us girls went to Savannah and had wonderful weather and a wonderful time. It was nice to just get away and relax and cut loose a little.

After a few drinks in our hotel room, we went and ate dinner and had a "few" more drinks to get the night started.

It was Friday the 13th, so guess what we did??? We went on a haunted ghost tour of Savannah!! It sounded like a really good idea before hand, it was a 90 minute walking tour that started at 10:00pm, after having drinks we discovered that was not the best idea. The photo below shows Erin, Beffy, Jennifer and our tour guide, who we tried to get to do a private tour due to our "conditions" but there were too many people so he had to take a big group of us. And NO, we did not see any ghosts.

This is how me, Erin & Beffy kept entertained during our 90 minute tour.

Couldn't resist showing Beffy and Jennifer helping each other out.

Doesn't she look like a beauty queen?

Here we are standing outside of Paula Deen's The Lady & Son's restaurant. It was soooooooooo good, although you could see all the butter floating on top of all the food, but it was soooooo yummy.

Arriving home.

Bachelor/Bachelorette Weekends!!!!!!!

Only 2 more weekends left until Jeremy & Erin's big wedding so this weekend is party weekend. All the guys left to go to New York City this morning and won't be back until Sunday night (they better be good, or else...) I told Johnny he had to bring me & Alex something good and it couldn't be one of those I (heart) N.Y. T-shirts because Chris gave me 3 of those for Christmas and Alex got a onesie. Anyway, all of us girls are leaving tomorrow afternoon and going to Savannah, Ga for the weekend, so guess what that means..................Alex is going to Grandma's!!!!! I am really looking forward to it but I am going to miss him so much. He probably won't even realize we're gone he'll be having so much fun at Grandma & Granddaddy's.

Okay, I had to do this, this is just a glimpse of what Erin received at her lingerie shower a couple weeks ago (this one actually had the most material), man are they going to have fun on their honeymoon.

Sour face

There are not many things that Alex will turn down when it comes to food. I gave him some mandarin oranges for the first time the other day and this was the result. It took him eating half of the container before he realized he did not like them afterall.

Easter Sunday

Okay, these are obviously not the best Easter pictures, but all Alex wanted to do was run around in the yard, so this was as good as it got. Johnny was trying to distract him a bit but all it really did was make him more upset that he was not on his own two feet. After we left Grandma and Granddaddy's after church we went over to Erin's family for Easter lunch. By then it had warmed up a bit so it was tolerable to go outside. There is a very slight incline in their back yard and Alex was trying with all his might to get back to a standing position once he fell over. It was quite comical to watch him , he was so determined to do it all my himself.

I think I can, I think I can......

Just a little bit more...

Taking a rest to try it again.

Johnny's bubbles

Honestly, I think Johnny actually got these for him, not Alex. They pretty much soak you if if pops over you, their pretty cool though, huh?

Spilled Applesauce

This is the result of letting a 12 month old feed himself applesauce. I would be surprised if he even got a tablespoon worth of applesauce in his mouth, but he sure did have fun at trying.
