Recent Events & Pictures

We got Alex this pool from the Dollor General Store ($8.00), you can't beat it. It was perfect for yesterday because it was so hot outside. Luckily we don't have neighbors on one side of us right now, so we set it up in that yard. Alex really liked the sprinkler that shoots out the head of the whale. We're trying to get him more used to the water, other than his baths, so maybe he can enjoy the new toy we got (2 pictures below).

My little baby gator.

Our newest toys.....Johnny & Jeremy came home with these a couple weeks ago, it was quite a surprise for me & Erin.

More bath-time fun. Check out the farmers tan and the big belly.

Last weekend, Erin, Jeremy, Johnny & I went to a charity event hosted by the Southern Civitan Group to benefit Daniel, a facility for abused children. It was a live/silent auction, so we got to get all dressed up for the evening. We even ended up winning a few prints (just because nobody else bid on them, oh well their loss). Erin was battling for a beautiful pearl necklace, which she ended up losing, but at least she bid the other woman up to $160.

Guess what I learned how to do???

Crawl through the doggie door...I even have the marks to prove it. I was talking on the phone to Johnny one Saturday afternoon, and I had seen Alex walk over to the sliding glass door, which he usually just plays with the little flapper part of the door. I got off the phone (1 minute maybe had gone by since he walked over to the door, don't be alarmed, I really do keep an eye on him) and realized I didn't hear him making any noise, so I got up and walked over to the door and to my surprise what did I see.......Alex standing all the way outside on the other side of the screen porch door in only his diaper. So not only did he go through the doggie door, he pushed his way through the screen porch door as well. The top two pictures are of the actual incident, the bottom two were from another day when I was really watching him. I never even made a peep as he was crawling through the door and sliding off of Dillon's stool that we have outside of the doggie door. This is one tough kid.....
