Weekend in New Hampshire

This past weekend we all (me, Johnny, Alex, Jeremy, Erin, Grandma & Grandaddy & Chris) went to New Hampshire to visit with Amy, Steve & Luke. Grandma had already been up there for about two weeks, so Alex was really excited to see her. As you can see there was still snow on the ground so we went out for a little while to enjoy playing in the snow. Alex really liked it, but he did not want to keep his gloves on. He had to come in after being out for about 15 minutes because he had taken his gloves off and was picking up snow, so his hands were cold & very red. Once we got them warmed up and convinced him to leave his gloves on we headed back out. I'll post more pictures later, it's taking too long to upload pictures right now.

Introducing Lucas John Morley....

This is Alex's newest cousin, Luke. He was born January 4th, he weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and was 19 1/2" inches long. Both him & Amy are doing wonderful, although I think Amy would like a little more sleep.

How cute is he?

Where does time go?

So, it's been awhile since I've posted, what can I say, it is so easy to lose track of time. Here are few of our highlights since our last post.

I've already got him hooked on People magazine! Don't let this picture fool you, he's really not using the potty, he's only pretending. The only thing he knows how to do on the potty is sit. Nothing happens once he sits, he just likes to pretend I guess. We're working on it though, slowly.

Our first major booboo. Alex decided to pull the stocking off the mantel and the stocking holder fell off with it, of course & guess where it landed? Right on Alex's lip. Of course it looked a whole lot worse than it was, but not after waiting at the Dr. office for an hour. It was pretty much swollen shut when the Dr. saw it. Luckily everything was okay. Imagine trying to keep that location on a toddler, dry & clean, yeah, that didn't happen. Fortunately there is no scar.

The culprit below...

All big boys drink milk. I love this picture, both Jeremy & Alex drinking their milk with the side look.

Just goofing off a little wearing Daddy's socks as leg warmers.

For my birthday, we all went down to the Treaty Oak tree downtown Jacksonville to have our Christmas pictures taken. Just a few shots goofing around.

Here are my cupcakes I made for Alex's daycare group.

Grandma & all her boys....Erin is braiding Chris' hair, Jeremy is getting his head scratched (he is so spoiled) and Alex brushing Daddy & Grandaddy's hair.

On Christmas Eve we went over to Grandma & Grandaddy's house. We had just come back from Day town earlier that day after a busy weekend getting to play with Bry, Emily & Ella & the rest of the Prine clan. Alex started acting tired around 6 o'clock so I went ahead & gave him his bath & fed him, thinking he would be ready to go to bed shortly after opening his presents. Boy, was I wrong....he stayed awake till 11:45 p.m. playing with all of his toys and helping everyone else open their gifts. We had such a good time watching him.

Christmas morning we got to sleep till 8:30!! Santa brought Alex a Spiderman 4-wheeler, tonka trucks, puzzles, etc.

Here he is trying out his new wheels...he couldn't quite figure out how to make it keep going. He thought once you push the button it should keep going & not have to hold your finger on it. We're still working on it.

Grammy & Poppy made a quick trip down to Florida after Christmas. Unfortunately, the day they left to drive 12 hours back home to Kentucky, they both got the stomach bug that Alex had the day before. I think that is a trip they will never forget. Alex not only gave the bug to Grammy & Poppy, but felt the need to share it with mommy, Uncle Jeremy & Grandaddy. I think all of our New Year was spent in bed.

Alex helping Grammy & Ashley rake leaves. He's such a good little helper!

Check out Joey's new set of wheels Santa brought...this truck is pretty cool, it has a radio in it & can pretty much go anywhere. Emma also got a really cool Barbie jeep that also has a radio. Alex loves riding in it. He didn't do to bad driving either.

On the way to the air show at Jax beach. Alex fell asleep with Uncle Jeremy's hat on. After we left the beach we all went to eat at Olive Garden, & Alex actually wore the Joe Dirt wig in the restaurant. Of course he was asleep & didn't realize he still had it on, but oh well. We got a lot of stares as we walked in.

Hanging out on the beach for the air show. Bry, Emily & Ella came in for the weekend too.

Mr. Cool

Thanksgiving in Kentucky

Alex didn't quite know what to think of Aunt Paula dressed as an indian. For those of you that know Aunt Paula, it should come as no surprise that she is dressed in costume for a holiday, you would actually question it if she wasn't dressed up. I always love going to Kentucky to visit family.

Alex had a blast hanging out with Faith. Here they are learning how to play pool, toddler style.

Alex loves his Grammy.

Aunt Crissy made the cutest little turkey cupcakes, Alex really enjoyed it.

Family picture with Alex's great-grandparents, Granny & Pa.

Alex & Faith doing ring around the rosie. Alex hadn't quite caught on to the "all fall down" part. He's just like his daddy when it comes to dancing, he pretty much just stood there while Faith ran around in circles.

Alex, Emma, Joey & Ki on Halloween. They had so much fun.
